Vice President, Global Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement for Pitney Bowes

As a member of the CHRO’s senior team, Sheryl is responsible for leading the company’s strategies and story-telling in each of these areas. She provides strategic counsel to the senior team and develops initiatives to help the enterprise leverage the intersection of diversity, inclusion and engagement to support business and employee success. This role combines Sheryl’s extensive communications expertise, deep understanding of the company’s strategy and passion for creating inclusive employee experiences. Her accountabilities also include: administration and analysis of the engagement survey; exploring the link between inclusion and engagement to help drive better employee experiences; collaborating to integrate diversity and inclusion into all aspects of talent management; and serving as a spokesperson with internal and external audiences on the company’s best practices and vision of the business value of diversity, inclusion and engagement.

Sheryl joined Pitney Bowes in 1989, in Stamford, as Manager of Communications and speechwriter for the CEO. Since then she has held positions of increasing responsibility, with the most recent being Vice President of Diversity and Communications with responsibilities for financial communications and executive communications support. During her tenure, the company has awarded her its Walter H. Wheeler award for individual accomplishment and the One Standard Excellence Award for team projects (x2).
