Have you registered for the Virtual Job Fair? Are you wondering what to expect and what you should bring? Look no further, some of the Marketing Team at PowerToFly is here to answer all of your questions! We want to make sure you feel comfortable going into the Virtual Job Fair and are ready to connect with hiring teams. We’ll discuss how the schedule works, what the companies will be discussing and how you can best prepare for this.
Job fairs can be intimidating (even virtual ones), which is why we’ve decided to give you a peek behind the curtain of our 6-hour virtual job fair happening during Diversity Reboot 2020, so you know just what to expect on the big day!
From what to wear to navigating the event technology - PowerToFly’s community team is hosting a live Q&A session to make sure all of your questions are answered prior to the big day. If you haven’t signed up yet, make sure to do so! We’ll be discussing how the schedule works, what you’ll need for the 6-hour virtual job fair, what a “fun time” break includes, and the other awesomeness you can expect going into the Summit!
Meet The Speakers
Meg joined the PowerToFly community as a job-seeker in 2014, eventually landing her first remote role working for PowerToFly’s Delivery Team. Her professional experience includes roles as a Talent Advocate, Head of Purchasing for a window factory, audiobook publishing, & more than 5 years as a paralegal. She has a bachelor's degree in Art History from Indiana University (mint condition, never been used!), where she also earned a varsity letter for Women's Rowing. She loves DIY projects and traveling and will never say no to french fries. She lives in Toledo, OH with her husband Aaron, an engineering technician, and their dogs, Radar & Cake.
