Many interviews now require some type of live coding test e.g. Hackerrank. For experienced people I find these tools are not effective in measuring skills or abilities. IMO I've been coding for 20 years I don't feel the need to do this type of test and its biased for people at my level. How do I decline taking these types of tests and still get an interview and a chance to demonstrate my skills in a different way?
