Latest News: PagerDuty made's Best Companies for Women to Advance List 2021!

PagerDuty was founded in 2009 by three innovative software developers who knew what it was like to carry the pager for “always on” cloud services.

What started as automating on-call rotations has evolved into a multi-product platform that helps companies of all sizes proactively manage their digital operations so their teams can spend less time reacting to incidents and more time building for the future.

Today, PagerDuty is a publicly traded, global company serving 13,000 customers in 90 countries.

We’re rapidly growing and looking for ambitious people who share our values and customer devotion mindset to join our high caliber team.

Join us, and together we'll work towards our mission to connect teams to real-time opportunities and elevate work to the outcomes that matter. Now hiring for remote, hybrid, and in-office roles in the U.S., Canada, and UK.

'Distributed by design'

2020 changed how we think about the office. We understand now more than ever that ‘digital business is here to stay’ and that while the COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges, it is an opportunity to reinvent how and where we work. As we look to the future, we plan to be ‘distributed by design’, meaning we will offer our employees the ability to work across a variety of geographies and workplaces, unless your job requirements make it necessary to be in a PagerDuty office.

Regardless of whether you choose to work from a PagerDuty office, remotely, or hybrid, you will have ample opportunities to advance your career and connect with Dutonians: virtual all hands calls, learning & development programs, bi-annual hack weeks, volunteering events, diversity initiatives - there’s something for everyone!

Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity

At PagerDuty, we believe you do your best work in a culture that fosters inclusion, well-being, and innovation.

We actively invest in creating and maintaining the right on-the-ground environment where all employees can learn, grow, and advance.

To set our teams up for success, we provide:

  1. Learning and development. Leadership and manager training programs, mentoring programs, and clear performance management and career pathing, driven by your professional goals and aspirations.
  2. Gender pay equity. At PagerDuty, male and female team members are compensated equally, within 1-2 percent, job for job.
  3. Generous paid parental leave. We’ve set our paid U.S. parental leave allowance to 22 weeks with total job security for pregnant parents, compared to an estimated industry average of 13-14 weeks. We also provide 12 weeks of paid parental leave for non-pregnant parents, including adoptive parents. We are proud to make it possible for all of our Dutonians on “BabyDuty” to have much-needed time off to care for and bond with their new child.
  4. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), employee-run communities focused on cultivating belonging for all. An example is SisterDuty, our group supporting women at PagerDuty. Since rolling out, the members of SisterDuty have done some amazing work, including creating internal mentoring networks and giving back to their local communities by volunteering at “hack days” and mentoring young women in STEM.

From how we build our teams to who sits in the boardroom, we hope you can see yourself at PagerDuty.
