PowerToFly was founded to fast-track economic equity by upskilling and connecting underrepresented talent to roles in highly visible sectors.

We achieve our mission daily through connecting diverse talent to free live virtual events with decision makers from companies, whether they're looking to change their career or they’re happy in their current role. We also feature upskilling content and host summits with industry leaders creating diverse, inclusive and equitable workplaces.

We are women-led, intersectional and focus on empowering underrepresented talent across all races, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, abilities, veteran statuses and gender identities. We welcome allies.

If you were counting down the days to Grace Hopper Celebration this year and disappointed it’s not happening, we are here to help. Join Skillcrush by PowerToFly for an hour built for early career women in tech who want the advice, encouragement, and real talk they were looking forward to. Instructor Tauri StClaire (who went from ten years at a front desk to a career in tech) kicks things off with a 30-minute session on what it takes to break in and build momentum once you’re there. Then career coach and Nationally Certified Résumé Writer Emily Christakis joins Tauri for a 30-minute Ask Me Anything, so bring your questions about résumés, job searches, career pivots, and anything else on your mind. You’ll leave with a clearer plan and two new people in your corner.

Key takeaways:

A realistic roadmap for breaking into tech or taking your next step

Résumé, interview, networking and job search tips

Direct answers to your own career questions during a live AMA
