Kamilah Smith
Kamilah Smith
Senior Manager, GPS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Capability Leader

Kamilah Smith is a Senior Manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice. With over 15 years of experience in helping senior executives grapple with workforce challenges. Her portfolio and background include workforce transformation, data analytics, culture transformation, and employee engagement. For the last four years, Kamilah has been the leader of the Deloitte GPS Workforce Equity practice focused on equity service market growth and quality delivery of high-profile workforce equity engagements. Her leadership has seen the Equity practice grow from a $12 million business to a $77 million portfolio that continues to grow.

In addition to her Workforce Equity practice leadership, Kamilah serves as the Army Account DEI lead as well as Deloitte’s Huntsville, Alabama office Talent and Culture Leader. Prior to her role as the Workforce Equity Practice leader, Kamilah oversaw Deloitte’s Survey Research and Analytics Center, a premier analytics and assessment team leading the delivery of workforce research and evaluation engagements for government and commercial clients as well as developing new Deloitte assessment and evaluation products and assets. Kamilah is a graduate of Atlantic Union College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then completed her Master’s Degree in Human and Organizational Studies from the George Washington University.

When she is not working, Kamilah loves excursions with friends to any place with a beach, watching k-dramas, and spa time, all while grappling with the demands of being a mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. As a global citizen, her mantra is, “Have passport, will travel."

Sydney has been a member of the Deloitte, Rosslyn team since 2018. As a manager in the Digital Health Offering, Sydney finds energy and inspiration in her work helping Federal Health clients leverage technology to achieve impactful improvements in healthcare delivery, management, and operations. At Deloitte, she has found community and opportunity to shape her career in healthcare and help others through mentorship and advocacy. A proud DC resident, Sydney enjoys exploring the city with family and making new friends on the tennis court.

Mayra Marquez

Human Capital Senior Manager

Mayra Marquez is an experienced change leader who works with state and local government organizations on their most complex transformation challenges. Mayra has led change, culture, future of work, and organizational design work with state and local government organizations across the US. Most recently, she has led work supporting public health clients with their modernization efforts and engagement with partners and external stakeholders. Additionally, Mayra has experience working with research institutions and nonprofits on communication planning/implementation and stakeholder management. Mayra lives in Austin, TX, and holds Masters degrees in Public Affairs and Latin American Studies from UT Austin and an undergraduate degree from UCLA.

Myrie Joseph is Workday consultant within Deloitte’s Government and Public sector. Located out of the Dallas office, she is a technically minded individual who is certified in Workday HCM Core, Compensation, HCM Recruiting and Workday Student Financials and Records and Academic Advising. She has substantial functional expertise is HCM and Student business process analysis and determining the best approaches based upon leading and emerging business practices. Shortly after joining Deloitte, she assisted in executing a successful Go-Live in Benefits of 17 institutions. She helped to drive the implementation of Workday’s HCM, and Finance modules incorporating 15,000 employees and included payroll, integration, conversion, team partnership work to harmonize go-live and cut-over activities from 9 legacy ERP systems. She is currently staffed as the communications lead on City of Seattle Workday project.

Linda Bove has over 20 years of experience in Oracle HCM in technical, functional and team leadership roles. Linda is a CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) and a certified implementer for Oracle Cloud Benefits and Payroll. Linda’s experience includes gathering requirements, as well as configuring, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting solutions that enhance core HR, benefits administration, and payroll. Additionally, Linda is experienced with process assessment and re-design.

I am currently working as a Technical architect on Texas.gov project and been with Deloitte for the last 9.5 years. I have worked on multiple projects from Deloitte USI and Deloitte US for the State of Texas account including DMV and Texas.gov.
I am based out of Austin office.
