In today’s work environment, employees who achieve their career goals do so because they take charge of their career by strategically moving up (and around) the career ladder.

Procore’s Sharee Rico, Sr. Manager of Business Recruiting, started as an IC recruiter, pivoted into business operations, and later moved back to talent acquisition management. Similarly, Miguel Poblete, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Program Manager, has deliberately moved horizontally throughout his career at Procore to gain the skills and experience he needed to be successful at his current role.

Join us on this Chat & Learn, as Sharee and Miguel share how they’ve taken the reins of their career journey to reach their long-term professional goals. They’ll also share ways that you can do the same!

In this chat, you’ll learn:

  • Strategies to choose next career steps that align with your talents and desires
  • How to identify transferable skills that can be used to shift roles
  • Ways to communicate and build key relationships for career movement

Sharee Rico
Senior Manager of Business Recruiting, Procore

Sharee Rico, Senior Manager of Business Recruiting, has been at Procore for 4 1/2 years. She has held several positions on Procore’s Talent Acquisition team, including Customer Success Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Operations Manager, and Manager of High Volume Recruiting.

Sharee’s goal wasn’t always to become a Recruiting leader—she initially went to school to pursue a career as a Probation Officer. However, once she took her first position as a Recruiter for a third-party call center, she knew her career was on a different path. Working at companies such as Harbor Freight and MINDBODY, where she helped grow the business from 350 to over 1,500 employees and through IPO, Sharee’s diverse experience and background have greatly contributed to her success today.
