Meet The Speaker
Bindu is the Group TPM at Facebook working on growing eCommerce through connecting buyers and sellers on Facebook Marketplace. She has been in the technology industry for over 20 years as a Product and Engineering leader. She previously was the Vice President of technology at Zulily, leading a team of 90 engineers and product managers responsible for building high-scale technology products that power the merchandising, pricing and vendor platforms. Prior to that she worked for several years at Microsoft as an engineering and product leader.
Bindu is passionate about building seamless customer experiences, mentoring women in technology, mentoring startups through TechStars and has worked extensively in eCommerce, Media, Consumer, Server and Services spaces. Bindu has a M.S. in chemical engineering from Colorado State University and a B.Tech in chemical engineering from Andhra University, India. When not at work, Bindu enjoys spending time travelling the world with her family and capturing diverse cultures and experiences through her photography.
