The most frustrating thing I dealt with on a regular basis at my corporate job was in meetings to pitch or brainstorm creative projects. I'm very soft spoken and I'm also too polite. I wait my turn to speak. I couldn't get the frequency of my voice to be heard among the men that were talking on top of each other. In addition to the interjections that would step on what I was trying to say, they also had the amazing ability to just not stop driving a point home. Like beat a dead horse kind of mentality to talk just to talk. Then before I knew it the meeting was over, and I was just left feeling frustrated.
