Question by Monika, Program Project Manager
asked on 2019-11-03

I don't even know where to start when it comes to returning to a 'job' after having pursued my own interests for a few years, 7 that is. Would you recommend a cover letter explaining, or mentioning personal reasons? I sometimes think HR reading through resumes need the extra explanation if a resume doesn't follow a straight line. How much would you explain in a cover letter? And do you see differences in applying for remote roles? Thanks!
