I took a role 4 years ago that was a step up in responsibilities and workload but they didn’t give me a pay raise or promotion. My boss is now trying to add even more responsibility to my plate - with no discussion of a pay bump again. How do I approach this from a negotiation stand point? I’d like to negotiate a pay bump & title change, and 1-2 work from home days so I could engage in “heads down” uninterrupted project time. The caveat is my company is cutting budgets this year- and we’re told almost no one will be getting raises. However I feel I deserve this, and will find employment elsewhere where I’m more valued.
