I'm a career-change software developer looking for my first role (have been looking since before COVID). I know I should be reaching out to recruiters when I apply for jobs, but I have trouble thinking of ways to present my experience as valuable, especially since the vast majority of jobs seem to be looking for someone already with at least a couple years of experience. How can I be more decisive about reaching out to recruiters, and what can I say that would make me sound like a reliable option?
