As women in the workplace we want to be polite so we wait to be called on. To avoid coming off as opinionated, we qualify our opinions and speak in terms of questions and not statements. We ask for permission to pursue new ideas instead of trusting our instincts and forging ahead, More often, we struggle to make people aware of our accomplishments because we are afraid of coming off as arrogant. What has been your secret, if any in navigating these fine lines to achieve the success that you've had?
