It seems like many folks in the workplace are understanding of immediate grief-related time away from the office, but grief doesn't work on a set timeline. What do you feel are the best approaches to communicating with your workplace about how you are feeling the pull of grief & may need some personal time off work to handle it without fear that you might it hinder your relationship with your team? How do you handle things differently as an employee vs when you're a manager?
