Something I have noticed about the use of diversity in the workplace is that many companies show a desire to be diverse but not always in every area. I find myself not just in one but to two categories that can qualify as diverse to many employers because I am a women and I have a disability? I have spent a lot of my life being "the first disabled person" in my school(s), work places, and social activities. How can I champion diversity well not being seen as (many in the disability community say) the "Token Cripple"?
