Friends have been most successful in managing their pregnancy with work when they have gamified the experience - crowdsourcing can's, can not's, and clever ways to use sick and PTO hours, plus asking the right questions to set themselves up for minimum out of pocket expenses in regards to insurance and co-payments. What kind of questions are helpful to minimize the burden (incl. financially and career position) and maximize the opportunities available (e.g. by employer, county/ state rules, and for government vs. private employers)?
