Recently I received 2 email surveys from organizations purportedly representing the the Biden/Harris campaign that at the end of the survey, required a donation. You couldn't submit your responses to important topics without donating. I found that underhanded and unsubscribed. What can we do to contribute to the stability of our democracy that doesn't involve opening up our checkbooks for uncertain ends? And how can we make certain that funds we do donate are having the impact we intend?
