I am a transgender woman who has transitioned in the past 2 years. I also left my career because making this change gave me the self respect to end a toxic work relationship that was not related to my gender identity.. There is a narrative that trans people face career ending adversity upon embracing their truth; however I believe that this is not actually the case. I believe the strength that has enabled me (us) to move forward in life, is a saleable skill - and as an advocate for my community I want to develop my personal brand around trans empowerment and the insight that our unique experience brings to the table. Any advice on this?
