Extremely curious to hear Melissa's story, especially being a software engineer myself. Self-doubt is a huge topic I've been facing constantly throughout my career and would like to understand how the more experienced handles that issue. One question missing from agenda. Do you you enjoy your work as an individual contributor (ie. being an engineer)? Are you excited about your work? Or are you leaning towards management role? Though I never wanted to believe this, I think being passionate about one's job could have tighter correlation with being more confident at work thus reducing the chances of self-doubt. Thanks!
How can I sent myself up for success while making a career transition in a completely different field ?
