I am attempting to transfer skills from my current job as a Technical Writer to a new job as a UX Writer. As a technical writer I have always advocated for the user so I thought this would be an easy transition but I am having a tough time getting recruiters to even consider me for an interview because I don’t have a UX portfolio nor do I know what to highlight. Which causes me to lose my confidence and second guess myself. Do you have any suggestions how I can move past this?
