I'm an experienced software engineer, but my background and experience is non-traditional, and I have trouble making it past the technical interview. I'm currently studying CS concepts, but I don't have a lot of time outside of work and it's slow going. I'm also involved in an open source project that I love, but again, little time means it's slow going. Is there any way to compensate for my weaknesses (technical interviewing) and increase the chances someone will take a chance on me?
