I lead a small, mostly male, mostly white business, and I feel uncertain as to how to incorporate DEI initiatives. Our company culture is very open and welcoming...*I think*...but I can only speak from the position of being in the minority as a female within my organization. I don't know what it feels like to be queer, or a person of color, or from a different culture, in the context of this business. I'd like to set up our business to attract and retain a diverse set of employees who all feel welcome, appreciated, and supported. How do I begin?
