I recently just hired someone! I’m having a hard time with delegation. I’m pretty friendly and down to earth but I don’t want that to get in the way of her respecting me as her “boss” …oh, and that’s uncomfortable to say as well. Do you have any tips on how to effectively delegate while having a down to earth attitude but still keeping boundaries/respect there? Also, keeping up with someone new on the team has been tough. It’s a lot of work and I’m afraid to drop the ball or not give her good enough tasks. She’s taking over marketing and responding to inquiries on social. I’m learning all of this so I’m kinda just winging it. Any tips on how to not get overwhelmed with having to keep up with someone else? Aside from being a small business owner of a high demand business…I’m a wife and mom of a 3 year old and soon to be infant! I’m struggling.
