I often find myself caught between 1) trying to find the visualization that optimizes for the most useful information possible at the same time and 2) sticking with visualizations that I know the leadership are familiar and comfortable with (e.g., I want to use violin plots all the time, and they really just seem happiest with line and bar charts). How could I think about balancing these views about visualizations?
