Damien currently serves as the Head of Diversity Equity and inclusion for Tenable. He brings over 20 years of professional experience in diversity equity and inclusion. Damien got his start working in consulting firms doing diversity training and facilitation with nonprofits, business leaders, community foundations, local and federal governments and public schools. In that time, Damien worked with groups like the National Council of La Raza (UnidosUS), National Minority Aids Council, The United Way of Greater Los Angeles, the Ford Foundation, and the White House Office of Faith and Community Based Initiatives along with many others. He transitioned later in his career to working on DE&I in the corporate sector working with Booz Allen Hamilton, Washington Gas, and Fannie Mae. In those roles, he led Diversity Councils, created and revised Employee Resource Group engagement strategies, managed diversity recruiting efforts, designed and delivered training on inclusive leadership and unconscious bias, and worked with executive leadership to build enterprise wide DE&I strategies.
