Nemours is seeking a Valet/Shuttle Driver to join the Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE!
Primary Functions of the Valet/Shuttle Driver:
1. Provide valet services to patient families, visitors, and volunteers with ambulatory issues.
2. Provide shuttle services to patients, patient families and associates as needed. Area includes AIDHC, Ronald McDonald House, Rockland I, Rockland II, Wells Fargo Tower, DuPont Experimental Station, and other locations as needed.
Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor:
Safely drive guest and Nemours vehicles.
Assists patients and other customers into and out of their vehicles.
Assists in providing a wheelchair for patients and visitors as needed.
Provide directions as needed
Monitor patient drop-off and pick-up area to ensure that vehicles are not left unattended and that fire lanes are open.
Assist in code pinks (abduction alerts) and prevention of smoking on hospital property.
Ensure that no property is damaged or missing.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to walk long distances and lift/move wheelchairs and/or other medical devices.
Ability to handle money/credit card transactions.
Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent
Must maintain a valid Driver's License
Must be at least 21 years old to have Company Insurance
