Elevate your career at Stryker's cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Skawina as a Senior Import/Export Analyst. Join us in this pivotal role where you will spearhead international operations, ensuring the seamless movement of goods across borders. Your expertise will play a critical part in achieving Stryker's goals and objectives, with a specific focus on operations for the new manufacturing facility in Skawina.
Key Responsibilities:
Customs Oversight: Act as the primary Customs contact for Stryker Poland. Ensure compliance with customs legislation and IP authorization.
Global Collaboration: Work with global teams on COO determination, HS classification, and policy implementation.
Policy Development and Compliance: Spearhead local policies aligning with global standards. Gather vital information for Customs compliance and oversee customs-related movements.
Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to Polish government regulations, obtaining necessary licensing/registrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across departments for mission, vision, and objective alignment.
Trade Compliance Leadership: Execute and communicate Global Trade compliance metrics and achievements.
Business Planning and Reviews: Lead local business planning and reviews with Brokers/Business stakeholders.
Trade System Management and Documentation: Handle Trade system activities, including ERP systems and document control.
Process Optimization and Project Leadership: Implement work instructions for documented end-to-end processes. Manage cross-divisional projects/initiatives on a site or regional scale.
Vendor and Government Interaction: Oversee international suppliers, 3PL, transportation, and custom brokerage providers. Submit responses to Government agencies and handle complex Trade scenarios.
Continuous Improvement and Strategic Relationships: Evaluate service delivery for enhanced team value. Establish and maintain strategic relationships internally and externally.
Qualifications:
Academic degree in international trade, customs affairs, or equivalent experience.
5 years of import/export compliance experience with Polish Customs.
Knowledge of EU customs/trade regulations, SAP-GTS, and proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent English and Polish skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, able to work independently and under pressure.
Proactive, responsible, and results-focused.
