Job DescriptionYour Role:
The Senior Analyst - Corporate Finance is responsible for supporting the office of the CFO by providing consolidated Invesco financial planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and decision support.
Developing and maintaining successful relationships within FP&A teams and with key business partners is critical to success. In addition, this position will be actively involved in the annual planning process and monthly management reporting for C-suite
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring integrity, accuracy and relevancy of standard reports distributed to the Global Head of Corporate Finance, Global Accounting and M&A teams, Head of Investor Relations, and CFO
- Analyzing monthly firm-wide, regional, and functional financial results (revenue, expenses and operating income) and relevant trends to identify and understand risks to achieving financial objectives
- Working closely with accounting and FP&A teams to understand risks and opportunities that can be incorporated into the monthly forecast
- Identifying areas of possible revenue opportunities and/or potential cost savings to incorporate into the business’ financial plan and forecast
- Creating / maintaining, interpreting, and delivering management reporting in the form of presentations, performance dashboards, and other visual tools for business leaders, including senior executives
- Improving and restructuring existing processes to achieve synergies and efficiencies across the organization
- Various ad-hoc requests as required
The experience you bring:
- 5+ years of Finance experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and forecasting
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative discipline; MBA is a plus
- Comfort applying latest financial management technologies and using automated tools as appropriate (e.g., experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau)
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials and Hyperion Planning is a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks and projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with Senior Management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment across functions and geographic locations
- Quick learner and excellent work ethics
- Self-starter – excellent time management and organizational skills
- Multi-task oriented in a flexible and high-pressure environment
