Job Details
- Manage a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other customers to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Review and approve code, ensuring consistency to coding standards. Be responsible for the design and implementation of system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance. resolve technical issues, providing support to team members as needed.
- Analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing user documentation of solution. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and above all, you are an excellent teammate!
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- 8+ or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or proven experience with a PhD
- Should have strong experience designing and developing Java and J2EE applications a with experience in REST APIs, JSON and exposure to container-based technologies
- Understand the Security requirements and standards, and modern trends in Security risks as well as technologies.
- You have strong experience with Agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, applying technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Crucible, Sonar, JUnit.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging and fixing.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Experience in leading a team and guiding team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
