    Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Operations Consultant to join our Global Delivery and Solutions department under Technical Advisory organization. This role acts as a critical operational partner to Product Management and Engineering, ensuring our product development lifecycle runs efficiently, transparently, and data driven.

This position blends Product Operations, Agile leadership, Jira administration, reporting & analytics, and DevOps process fluency. The ideal candidate has used AI tools and understands CI/CD environments, cloud-based delivery models, and DevOps workflows, enabling them to provide best-practice guidance and operational help across teams. You will serve as a Scrum Master, Jira administrator, and operational advisor to product leadership while supporting DevOps-aligned delivery practices and automation visibility. You will report to the Manager of Solution Engineering.

    Responsibilities

    Advisory & Operational Leadership

    • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand product, tooling, and CI/CD requirements

    • Serve as a consultant to Product and Engineering teams by recommending best practices in Agile, DevOps, and product lifecycle management

    • Solve complex operational challenges by applying data analysis, judgment, and industry best practices

    • Connect operational metrics and delivery execution to broader strategic business objectives

    • Lead key operational initiatives or components of larger cross-functional programs

    DevOps & Delivery Enablement

    • Create and support CI/CD solutions using programmatic and automation-driven approaches

    • Automate configuration and deployment of product software builds across multiple environments

    • Promote DevOps best practices including automation, environmental hygiene, and infrastructure-as-code awareness

    • Partner with Product Management and DevOps teams to align product roadmaps with CI/CD and release management workflows

    • Identify process inefficiencies across Product, Engineering, and DevOps and recommend scalable improvements

    • Maintain documentation outlining build architecture, release processes, and automation flows

    • Support DevOps configuration and AWS/Azure resource governance and hygiene

    Agile & Process Governance

    • Drive Agile best practices (Scrum/SAFe) and facilitate Scrum ceremonies

    • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with strong attention to detail and prioritization discipline

    • Configure and administer Jira projects, workflows, boards, custom fields, automation rules, and dashboards

    • Align Jira workflows with CI/CD stages and DevOps processes

    • Maintain Confluence documentation and operational diagrams

    • Identify opportunities to automate recurring operational tasks

    • Champion reusable components and standardized practices versus duplicative efforts

    Reporting, Metrics & Leadership Communication

    • Define and track product usage, adoption, and operational delivery metrics

    • Develop executive-level dashboards and reporting frameworks

    • Clearly communicate operational and DevOps insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Connect delivery metrics (velocity, release frequency, build health) to measurable business outcomes

    • Act as an operational bridge between Product, Engineering, DevOps, IT Cloud Teams, and Leadership

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

    • 5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Agile Program Management, DevOps Operations, or related role

    • Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile environments

    • Hands-on experience configuring and administering Jira (workflows, dashboards, automation)

    • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, DevOps methodologies, and release management processes

    • Experience working in cloud-based environments (preferably AWS or Azure)

    • Familiarity with source code management tools (e.g., GitHub)

    • Experience supporting engineering teams operating in multi-environment deployments

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities

    • Experience developing leadership-level reporting and usage metrics

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in configuring and populating Gainsight Knowledge Base to support enablement and adoption

    • Has used AI assist tools like GitHub Co-pilot, ChatGPT, Claude to create automations

    • Experience with build, deployment, and release pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, AWS Code Pipelines, Cloud Bees)

    • Experience maintaining DevOps configuration and cloud resource hygiene

    • Familiarity with scripting/automation concepts (Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, Python)

    • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef)

    • Experience with containers (Docker) and virtualized/cloud infrastructure
