HybridRaytheon is seeking an experienced Strategy Manager; this role will be key to shaping the organization's long-term strategy and developing measures that realize the company’s business objectives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy and Communications, this individual will be responsible for the development, revision and communication of CIS strategic deliverables in collaboration with SBU and functional leadership. CIS is a global business with annual sales of $1.4B. The strategy manager will be tasked with analyzing and partnering to analyze the organization’s positioning, developing achievable goals and implementing processes that improve organizational effectiveness and build a sustainable competitive advantage.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the development of long-term organizational strategy.
Coordinating development of the integrated CIS business strategy and the development of portfolio strategies and/or Cross Business strategies in collaboration with various SBU leaders, Finance, and the Requirements & Capabilities function.
Keeping abreast of market trends and competitors within the space.
Executing high-visibility strategic analysis projects that drive benefit for customer missions and the business’ competitive position
Partnering with Tech and business leads to identify strategic competitive differentiators and gaps for CIS.
Providing strong assessment and analysis of segment and competitor trends across the diverse and complex CIS portfolio;
Identifying and communicating environmental, competitor and customer trends that may require adjustments to CIS strategy
Performing annual analysis of the president’s budget for relevant CIS markets in partnership with business leads and BD, and assimilate FYDP into market models to inform insights and trends.
Partnering with external vendors to obtain NIP/MIP data for relevant classified budget analysis, then building/updating market models for segments relevant to the business and derive appropriate insights cross-checked with BD/business intel from customers.
Identifying threats and opportunities for the organization.
Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions to the CIS President and Leadership Team.
Planning, implementing and managing proposed recommendations and projects.
Monitoring and reporting on projects currently in work.
Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline or related field with a minimum of 10 years prior related experience
Substantial strategy development and/or strategic analysis experience to include demonstrated ability to conduct market research, gather competitive intelligence, and perform data / budget analysis.
Insight into domestic cyber and intelligence industry and/or relevant technology markets with broad knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to effectively interface at executive levels
Ability to gain internal support across the organization, operate independently with limited oversight, and establish a solid working relationship with management and teammates
High level of integrity, collaborative, and able to team across multiple functions
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business administration, management consulting or similar field
Exceptional understanding of business operations and procedures.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
