- 15 years of experience in a sales role or in a customer-facing technical/engineering or consulting role.
- 10 years of experience working with C-level executives (e.g., Board, CEO, CFO).

As the Director for Global Strategic Initiatives (GSI), you will be responsible for obtaining large and complex Google Cloud customers. You'll establish a multi-year partnership and industry transformation strategy with strategic customers, and further own the execution of the “One Google” strategy with these customers. Externally, you will be the senior business executive in the engagement and work directly with the customer board, CEO, and across the customer executive management team. Internally, you will lead coordination and execution with regional account teams, other Google organizations, and Google Cloud leadership including the CEO and Global and Regional Presidents. Finally, you will establish, institutionalize, and scale processes and templates for obtaining large, complex customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$317,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Serve as the executive responsible for leading large, complex Google Cloud-led business agreements, establishing multi-year partnerships (5-10 years) with the customer.
- Influence and establish trusted relationships with the board, CEO, and executives at large organizations and drive alignment between Google leadership and the customer executive team.
- Own trusted relationships across Google SVP/VP in different business units and be a collaborative member of the regional account team. Understand the business models/incentives for other Google/Alphabet business units and create alignment with the business agreement structure.
- Develop the Google differentiator strategy at the CEO/board level and gain buy-in from the customer, leading executive briefings and presentations.
- Work with the regional account team to build and execute a plan, develop comprehensive agreement financials, and customer risk reduction strategy.
