Job DescriptionYour Role:
To be successful, you will need to develop an understanding of Invesco’s investment and operational capabilities, service offerings, culture and vision as well as develop collaborative relationships across internal departments that are critical within the client life cycle. You will ensure successful implementation of client engagement initiatives, newly developed engagement strategies and processes by leveraging your business and financial acumen and curiosity for market trends. Working primarily with Distribution, Product, Marketing and Compliance to deliver resources that help facilitate the sales process and drive business development.
You will be responsible for:
- Responsible for ensuring that distribution field teams and key internal partners are trained on dealer-specific rules of engagement and works to integrate these requirements into our execution approach.
- Supports the Wealth Management Platforms (WMP) team providing oversight and tactical management for various client engagement initiatives (e.g., conferences, webinars, program approval).
- On behalf of WMP, acts as a point of contact in fulfilling client requests including regular and ad-hoc reporting, product due diligence and engagement approvals.
- Working with colleagues across Distribution, Enablement and Marketing functions influences and directs activities that drive actionable sales strategies that can be leveraged across the distribution team, including:
- identifying the target population,
- developing the appropriate content (within applicable compliance and brand standards),
- defining activity criteria,
- measuring campaign results and adjusts as appropriate.
- Deeply understands the Sales Practices guidelines to provide sales support and liaises with Compliance in ensuring the distribution team is adequately supervised and trained on these policies and procedures.
- Partner with Distribution Operations to make full use of available technology, automation and data intelligence and promote best practices through sales enablement.
- Develop and maintain internal back-office relationships to facilitate operational sales requests, directing specific issues to the appropriate resource for completion while ensuring a smooth client experience.
- Participate in client impacting business and regulatory driven projects and initiatives.
The experience you bring:
- 5 years of asset management experience, which could include experience with client servicing, sales and sales support, and project management.
- Understand common firm platforms and account structures, particularly within the brokerage and high net-worth channels.
- Experience in working with data sets including cleansing for further ingestion and analyzing data for actionable outputs.
- University degree in Business/Economics/Marketing.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ideal: Experience with Salesforce.
- Ideal: bilingual French/English specifically with the ability to read/write in French.
- The ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands full compliance with policies and procedures.
- A clear understanding of, and the ability to effectively reinforce accountability and ownership with internal stakeholders.
- Robust interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client service skills, including responsiveness, issue resolution, root cause analysis and process improvement.
- Accountable, motivated, diligent and results driven work ethic.
- Strong planning, organizational, multitasking and execution skills with the ability to manage and control their own priorities to meet deadlines while being flexible with the ability to adapt to change.
