The successful candidate can expect to:
- Support the sales side of the business from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Respond to customer enquiries.
- Technical and Commercial support for Sales Engineers.
- Contract and risk assessment creation.
- Initial design support for sales enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical customer liaison.
- Research and development for the business.
- Support commercial customer liaison.
- Generating technical sales proposals and contracts – RFQ.
- Carry out initial risk assessments for new projects and programs quoted.
- Convey customer requirements to internal project teams at initial Value Stream Gate reviews.
- Produce supporting costs and data packages for new projects in accordance with the sales process.
- Providing technical support for Sales Engineers and internal sales team members – primarily onsite.
What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant Professional Degree or equivalent
- An awareness of Design principles and manufacturing techniques
- Presenting technical information
- Microsoft Excel
Desirable Criteria:
- Technical experience within a manufacturing organisation, preferred
- Experience and familiarity with the company’s products and line of business
