OnsiteThe New Product Introduction (NPI) Military Aircraft & Helicopter (MA&H) Portfolio Senior Manager will lead a team focused on influencing product design for a successful transition to operations. This influence will drive predictability and repeatability into operations for improved customer value. You and your team will facilitate cooperation and cohesion between Operations, Engineering, and Product Line Management during the development and transition of new products facilitating collaboration and influencing buy-in of all stakeholders to ensure New Products are manufacturable and ready for rate production.
From a business perspective, you will be required to track day-to-day program/project status, support internal and external customer meetings, ensure project process compliance, support annual NPI strategic and financial planning efforts, and be the focal for the MA&H portfolio’s product transitions. The portfolio includes leading resources in Wilsonville, OR and Anaheim, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure Operations voice is considered in development decision-making.
- Build a collaborative working environment to accomplish team goals.
- Development and coordination of a new product introduction team.
- Oversight of the early builds, transition build team, and activities.
- Prioritize human resources to meet business objectives.
- Responsible for the selection of new employees as well as the development and performance management of current employees.
- Contributes to the development, modification, and review of New Product Introduction systems, processes, reporting methods, and tools.
- Support yearly Strategic and Operational Financial Planning activities.
- Commitment to 100% internal and external customer satisfaction, understanding the customer's needs and providing exceptional goods and services.
- Lead a small remote team in Anaheim, CA.
- Business travel up to 25%
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- STEM Degree preferred.
- New Product Introduction experience.
- Proficency in Collins Management System.
- Advanced proficiency applying Lean/Six Sigma or APQP principles.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project and SAP or similar ERP system.
- Strategic thinking and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex challenges and drive positive change.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
