We are looking for a Systems Architecture Engineer, who will be part of the Systems and Business Intelligence (SBI) team. The SBI team works closely with Meta business leaders to understand the needs of the business and to develop a vision and strategy for tooling and data solutions that support data center designs, engineering, and construction. As the "Systems Architecture Engineer", you are passionate about solving systems, automation, and data problems. As the successful candidate, you will fold your sleeve and work with key functional leaders and pillar leads, product and program leads throughout DEC organization to transform how we scale our Design & Construction related tooling & data eco-system and the related infrastructure for both internal and external AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) stakeholders. You will solve AEC needs through automation and integration of tools and processes and provide insights to connect newer initiatives into existing tooling & data fabric. You will continuously look for bleeding edge technology that can be beneficial for the AEC stakeholders and create effective plans for implementation and adoption.You will maintain a high bar in terms of product thinking and analytical depth through your work and actions, innovation will be part of your natural thought process.

Systems Architecture Engineer Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities and create automation in processes, tools and data flow.
- Lead and collaborated with a team of cross functional engineers and product managers in the ideation and technical development of innovative products to streamline and automate critical business processes at scale.
- Drive the technical definition, implementation, and execution/deployment of innovative and potentially disruptive solutions with the goal of accelerating their adoption.
- Influence product teams through data-based recommendations, communicating state of business, spreading best practices to analytics and product teams.
- Provide reporting and communication to stakeholders to present and align on product lifecycle implementation and utilization.
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of internal products.
- Participate in various team syncs to drive alignment, visibility, and consistency in program and project execution.
- Develop and drive execution on 6 month and 1 year road maps.
- Lead vendors or third party vendors on development of tools and automation.
- May require some travel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in a quantitative field (Physics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology).
- Hands-on experience with tooling & automation development (i.e. computer programming/scripting, database integration, dashboards, APIs).
- Proficient in Design, Project Management and Documentation Applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam, Visio.
- Experience to accurately explain complex, technical concepts to others.
- Proven presentation and communication skills, along with an experience connecting with and influencing a broad spectrum of audiences in a global, matrixed organization.
- Experience with design software such as Revit/AutoCAD, Dynamo, Rhino Grasshopper.
- Experience with construction management applications (e.g., e-Builder, Unifier, BIM360, Procore).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in leading automation initiatives in large, global level design, construction, or manufacturing organizations
- Hands-on experience in database customization and development experience in a programming language (JavaScript, Python etc.)
- Data Center/Mission Critical experience
