UnspecifiedWe are looking for a Configuration Management Analyst to join our team!
Are you enthusiastic and curious? Are you passionate about supporting ELCAN’s growth and ensuring documentation is clear and correct? We are searching for a Configuration Analyst to support the principles of Configuration Management (CM) and help maintain the integrity for all our products throughout the life cycle.
The successful candidate will participate in various aspects of the configuration management process. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to configuration activities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review and validate and interpret drawings and documents
- Plan, enforce and coordinate CM processes and procedures
- Support change management and revision control
- Support configuration and release of documentation and drawings
- Create/Maintain BoM’s
- Verify and validate documentation is in compliance to Global Trade, Engineering and Configuration policies and procedures
- Create distribution Lists for distributing configured documentation
- Support for configuration and release of Waivers/Deviations
- Support for intervention and correction to documents
Key Competencies
- College level education in a related technical area or equivalent
- Able to comprehend technical documents at a basic level
- Proficient use of MS Office -Word/Excel, Adobe
- Good attention to detail with the ability to work in a systematic, highly organized manner
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, presentation and time management skills
- Team player: willing to offer help and provide input into discussions
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of LN, Product Center and/or data management is an asset
- Experience with change management and version control is an asset
- Interest in continuous education in configuration management disciplines
- Demonstrate self-starting, proactive characteristics including the ability to work with limited supervision
