As the IT Sr. Manager, Data and Analytics you will support strategic IT Analytics programs including the Business/ERP transformation program (Global ERP Program). You will provide leadership around execution and delivery of reporting and analytics projects and product services end-to-end for all the sites and divisions of Stryker, driving IT SDLC processes, Global Data Lake development, and Analytics leveraging leading edge technologies of Microsoft Azure and SAP Analytics platforms.

What You Will Do
- Own the end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the platform and products to help drive global data analytics' overall strategy and roadmap. This includes platforms, requirements, data engineering, data ingestion from enterprise core assets, Analytics platform selection, and reporting capabilities.
- Lead design, configuration, development, testing and deployment activities, which will be distributed across Projects and Release Cycles.
- Delivery of approved projects through the project management framework.
- Choose the right technology platform/components for implementing an architected solution aligning with Enterprise Architecture.
- Lead and direct the work of Technical Solution Leads, Technical Solution Analysts and Solution Architects.
- Produce detailed technical design documents, configure and/or develop within the assigned applications and understand the overall design and architecture of the platform to deliver end-to-end BI & Analytics solutions.
- Drive synergies and maximize reusability of Azure Data Lake/Databricks, Synapse Analytics, SAP BW/4HANA objects and reporting objects for future releases of Global ERP program and Global Solutions.
- Work closely with Global Data & Analytics leaders to assist in developing the overall strategy of analytics services and enabling niche area technologies, including advanced analytics.
- Manage and coordinate with strategic suppliers and deployment partners through the entire SDLC to ensure they meet the contractual deliverables and agreed-upon timelines, and quality/performance metrics.
- Drive the Solution Reviews and Design decisions, technical approvals across the application area, and alignment of scope for all types of releases in end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Budget and estimate for new projects and maintenance of products.
- Work with Demand Review Board to manage supply and demand into Build group.
What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer Science or Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of IT experience; leading a team, setting priorities and plans to meet business goals and objectives required.
- 8+ years of experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence tools and technology, focusing on complex business intelligence and data analytics projects, including independent problem-solving required.
- 5+ years of IT experience in leading projects, setting priorities and plans to meet business objectives is required.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP ERP, SAP BW/BI, SAP HANA (SAPBW/4HANA) is required.
- Experience of Agile and DevOps methods of delivering complex BI, advanced analytics, information management, or data warehousing projects and maintaining product lifecycle required.
- Experience on Microsoft Azure analytics stack (Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure ML) and Power-BI experience is preferred.
