Role Summary
With limited guidance, conducts data management and reporting, applying working knowledge of full life cycle data analysis. Gathers, synthesizes, and interprets information from a wide variety of sources, providing actionable reporting for senior team members and managers. Advocates data standard within a crossfunctional team to ensure data are regarded as accurate, timely, reliable, and trusted by business stakeholders. Participates in data governance discussions that may have impact beyond the immediate team.
Responsibilities:

Collaborates with peers in the business on various defined and ad hoc data and reporting requests. Ensures deliverables are completed in a timely manner that meets the business needs with a mindset to minimize redundancy and improve efficiency. Integrates data across various data sources and data warehouses or databases. Reviews and interprets data for consistency, accuracy, trends, and leading indicators. Summarizes findings and data protection/privacy issues for review with more experienced professionals and management.

Conducts processes for the creation, consumption, assimilation, and/or destruction of data. Ensures adherence to quality controls and governance rules. Ensures project specifications are in line with data management standards in terms of data and reporting needs and is accountable for related project goals.

Participates in the development and testing of systems. Conducts investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine enhancement feasibility and implications for data accuracy. Compiles reports for review by more senior professionals.

Curates data and conducts governance activities, contributing to the development of technical workflows, operational data management reports and metrics, enhancing existing models, and building frameworks and processes. Trains junior professionals and support staff to understand the data.

Examines and controls changes in complex data sets. Contributes to the implementation and execution of data quality and maintenance programs in alignment with T. Rowe Price policies and procedures. Adheres to and champions best practices for the business.
Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
-
2+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
-
Understanding of data processing tools to extract and load data from files and databases.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

High aptitude with business intelligence tools, with preference to Tableau and Alteryx, MicroStrategy

Sales experience and/or strong understanding of sales processes

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)

Strong Consulting and Communication (verbal and written) skills
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
Regional Requirements:
Base salary range:
$73,000.00 - $125,000.00 USD
For the location of:
Colorado
This job posting is expected to be available until 3/31/2024.
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
