The Technology Account Manager position is a client facing role who manages all of the tactical and strategic day to day technology support needs for our internal and external clients. They also provide insight and documentation to assist product project management teams and assist in the development and testing of new enhancements and functionality. The Technology Account Managers work directly with hospice owners, administrators, clinical directors, nurses and physician prescribers who are tasked with the tremendous responsibility of assisting some of our most vulnerable patients with their end of life needs. Response times are critical in these situations and our Technology Account Managers must be prepared to quickly resolve any issues that arise. This is frequently done by coordinating with numerous internal departments and external vendors to resolve the issue correctly and quickly. Issues that arise most frequently involve extensive research and collaboration across teams. Technology Account Managers frequently work with Strategic Implementation, Client Services Account Management and Integration to resolve client issues and will also be heavily engaged with various eRx vendors who provide the software platforms used by hospices on behalf of Optum Hospice Pharmacy Services.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S., preferably in Eastern or Pacific Time Zone as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implementation and onboarding of new eRx users
- Creation of eRx practices with appropriate settings
- Training of all eRx users, providing ongoing education and support to clients and eRx users
- Supporting sales activities with product demos
- Recording trainings and videos for clients
- Conducting 1:1 escalated onboarding assistance to prescribers and administrators
- On site support as needed for critical trainings and onboarding assistance
- Production of reports and analytics related to key metrics and performance
- De-escalation of escalated issues from Support
- Research and resolution reporting
- Creation of enhancement documentation
- Post go live support
Technology Account Managers are remote employees who are expected to be productive in their home environment and available on their computers/phone/Teams during normal business hours based on location and business need. Travel is required and estimated at 30%.

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years healthcare experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the medical field
- Technology implementation experience
- Excel and reporting experience
- Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Word
- Technology experience
- Experience with building customer relationships and problem solving
- Ability to work independently
- Ability and willingness to travel locally and regionally
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
