We’re seeking an Internal Communications Manager to lead a team responsible for managing discourse on our internal platforms. As a company that values open, transparent and two-way dialogue, we encourage professional discussions and debate. We believe in the importance of understanding perspectives to help us in making the best decisions possible. This role will partner closely with Communications, HR, Policy and Legal to manage major internal channels and a growing sentiment analysis function within internal communications. Candidates with a bias towards action and expertise in conflict resolution will excel in this role. Both excellent writing skills and analytical abilities are essential. The ideal candidate will be a vibrant member of our internal community on Workplace and capable of inspiring a team.

Internal Communications Manager, Moderation Lead Responsibilities:
- Oversees a global team accountable for moderating major internal groups
- Escalates and strategizes response to risks and crises with relevant cross functional teams
- Analyzes employee engagement and sentiment trends and translates quantitative insights into easy-to-understand summaries
- Stays informed on external conversations about the company and trends impacting our global employee base
- Partners with product and HR teams to improve internal tools and training for future state internal communications functions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience or coursework in statistical analysis and data visualization
- Experience writing business communications (e.g. executive emails, blog posts, press releases)
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Business or related field
- Experience working directly with company executives and their teams
- Working proficiency in Excel, Qualtrics, or related data analytics programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Advanced analytical skills and education
- Knowledge of complex policy issues pertinent to Meta
