The Control & Protection Commissioning team in Sweden is looking for a Global Manager to take on the role as the leader to support and develop the individuals, the group, and the team. In this role, you will be part of HVDC unit, and you will lead a team of Commissioning Engineers specialized in MACH, IEDs, SCADA and HMI.
This role offers you the opportunity to develop your expertise in HVDC technology as well as your leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. You will have the possibility to influence several projects with your decision-making, in order to enable the energy grid transition faster and in a bigger scale. Your Responsibilities
Manage a team of Commissioning Engineers spread across various countries in the world and take responsibility to recruit, train and provide strategic leadership for your team.
Responsible of maintaining high level of quality of your team’s deliverables and execution according to project plans.
Taking ownership of short-term and long-term planning of the Control & Protection scope of HVDC projects globally.
Maintaining your department interfaces and driving Scope and Division of Work-discussions with other departments and customers.
Deciding and implementing the management strategy and continuous improvement projects together with the management team and review existing processes and identifying new ones.
Support in tender work for commissioning scope and assure that commitments to the customer are met and in accordance with the contract.
Your Background
University Degree in a relevant area, for example Engineering or Business Administration & Management
Experience from Control & Protection or SCADA scope from design, testing, or commissioning project stages, and/or experience in a people manager/leadership role is required.
Experience in HVDC technology or AC sub-station, commissioning work in plants of high complexity, MACH technology, IEC61850 or programming of relays is an advantage.
Fluency in English is required, any other languages skills are considered an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to coach others in the commissioning area.
Ability to work according to relevant legislations and standards but with a pragmatic and smooth way of working.

In this role, you can be based in either Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden. The role requires you to travel internationally occasionally.
