We are the Employee Enablement Solutions Team (EES) in Corporate IT, where we champion the technology needs of our Visa staff. We have an exciting new position for a Technology Training Facilitator.
We are looking for a hardworking professional who will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing training programs on various technologies for Visa employees. As a key part of our Organizational Change Management team within EES, the Technology Training Facilitator will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our employees are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new technologies and systems. This will involve working closely with other departments to understand the impact of technological changes on various roles and designing training programs that help employees transition smoothly.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about technology and education, and has a proven track record in managing and implementing successful technical training programs. They should have excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Essential Functions:
- Build engaging, informational, and visually compelling learning experiences
- Deliver technology training, both in person and virtually, with a schedule that will meet learner demands and support organizational goals and priorities across time zones
- Provide timely pre-class and follow-up support for learner queries as needed
- Ensure all necessary training materials are prepared and available prior to the training
- Support relevant online forums, communities and social media platforms that maximize learner engagement and connection
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and tools by establishing positive relationships with SMEs and other partners to ensure training materials stay current
- Actively review the effectiveness and efficiency of training deliveries for continuous improvement
- Identify potential learning gaps and/or needs of employees
- Find new ways to produce content that scales and resonates with Visa audiences globally
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
The standard working hours for this role currently are from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, local Manila time. When the work necessitates it, you may be required to work outside of the prescribed work hours. Visa reserves the right to adjust the standard working hours in future based on the business requirements
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred skills
- Demonstrated experience in delivering content related to Microsoft 365, GenAI tools, and similar technologies
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills including ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and executives
- Able to convey technology information clearly, concisely, and effectively when speaking one-on-one or in groups and in written communication, documents and email in English
- Passion for teaching and facilitation and providing the best learning experiences for learners
- Ability to learn new topics quickly and deliver effectively as assigned
- Proven ability to increase learner engagement in course facilitation
- Ability to comprehend and translate complex technical concepts into terms that are easy to understand for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple interruptions
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing content, delivery modalities and strategies
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and the ability to apply them effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and projects
- Capable of working effectively with people who have different backgrounds, ideas, perspectives, disciplines, and values
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products required
