Skills and Competencies
Must Haves:
- Programming experience in Python, C/C++.
- Experience with database systems and SQL.
- Knowledge of Linux and bash.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience working in an agile team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in remote Linux environments.
- Cloud experience: AWS or Google.
- Experience writing regression/integration tests.
- Experience with Postman and using APIs.
- Experience with Git or other version control system.
Education
- Degree or equivalent experience in any Science or Engineering field.
Responsibilities
- Improve news and other unstructured data processing in C/C++.
- Work on internal tools used to maintain data related to unstructured data processing.
- Help to automate the process of increasing the number of organizations recognized.
- Improve code that recognizes people and locations in unstructured data.
- Help to create an automated CI/CD pipeline for software and data delivery.
- Collaborate within an agile team environment, embracing continuous learning and fast iteration.
- Maintain and improve existing software while documenting enhancements and updates clearly.
- Apply he above techniques to any other kind of unstructured data
