Northrop Grumman is seeking and Security Coordinator 4. This position reports directly to the Security Manager/FSO. SC4 must demonstrate a firm understanding across multiple disciplines of the security field and perform tasks with little or no supervision. SC4 must execute administrative tasks supporting Visitor Control, Security Inspections, Education Awareness and Training, Adverse Report submissions, Physical Security, support workflow actions with customer entities, records management, and communications . SC4 must have a broad understanding of the DoD security practices and principles. SC4 will be expected to build and maintain strong customer and program management relationships and possess excellent problem solving and data analysis skills.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. - Support all RM Campus Security Operations as assigned including all incident responses.
- Effectively operate in fast paced environment as well as a thorough understanding DoD security best practices
- Act as primary POC for all Adverse Reporting matters
- Be knowledgeable of NISPOM (The Rule) compliance requirements for DoD areas with the ability to identify and address potential compliance concerns with designated area POC's and Security Management
- Possess strong communications with the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders in support of the RM campus security operations and overall security mission.
- Prepare necessary reports and notifications as required by internal policies as well as governmental requirements.
- Act as primary POC Marking, shipping, and receiving of classified materials.
- Conducts Safe Audits
- Support of contractual OPSEC plans at the RM facility.
- Supports destruction and degaussing.
- Conducts fingerprinting and citizenship verifications for ESSS.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience to include military, industrial security, or related field.
- Adequate computer skills and aptitude with Microsoft Office software products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to work multiple competing work assignments simultaneously, establish priorities and get directly involved in a hands-on manner with staff.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop and articulate focused solutions and take independent action in an often-ambiguous work environment.
- Excellent communication, customer service and writing skills.
- Excellent speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications .
- Military service highly preferred
- 2+ years' experience with NISPOM requirements
- Extensive experience with computers / Microsoft Office software products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with security databases (DISS, ISFD, SIMS, etc.)
