- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in project or program management.
- Experience in NPI, data center operations, data center environment, and data center architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in new product introduction, program management, operations program management, or facility management.
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience leading complex new product introduction programs.
- Experience with electrical infrastructure (e.g., electrical switchyard, transformers, high voltage/medium voltage transmission and distribution, etc.), mechanical infrastructure (e.g., cooling towers, chillers, gensets, MCUs, etc.), or server hall infrastructure (e.g., server racks, server machines, networking switches, fiber management, etc.).
- Ability to multitask, analyze opportunities, define successful approaches, and proactively solve problems.

The Data Center Operations (DCOps) organization operates and transforms some of the world's leading data centers. The team's mission is to deploy, operate, and maintain a scalable and secure global Google data center infrastructure safely, reliably, and efficiently, 24x7.
The Operations Readiness (OR) team is one of the pillars of the Central Operations team within DCOps and enables operational and product readiness across Google’s global data center fleet by leading strategic support programs for DCOps.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Represent the data center operations cross-function for new product development (NPI) programs that result in the launch and deployment of complex technical infrastructure.
- Ensure alignment of product and business goals by developing and driving program plans and coordinating activities within the established program timelines and budgets.
- Develop and execute risk management plans and communications plans.
- Drive continuous New Product Introduction (NPI) process improvement initiatives. Apply and use the cross-functional NPI process to deliver products to market.
- Support business reviews and any preliminary or interim reviews related to the associated NPI portfolio.
