The Sr. Director, New Year Readiness & Planning will help define and drive our strategic planning process inclusive of annual strategic GTM evolution projects. In this role you will be working directly with senior leaders across the organization to optimize our planning process, drive business transparency and insights, and partner with our GTM Anaplan team to drive automation. This results-oriented position will provide strategic, analytical and project management leadership while engaging with stakeholders across the business to drive enterprise-wide best practices. This role is responsible for building trust-based relationships and effectively collaborating with all GTM business partners.
What you get to do in this role: Drive the Evolution and Execution of our Strategic Planning Process
- Orchestrate the New Year Readiness process across the business, ensuring on-time sales readiness each fiscal cycle.
- Lead strategic programs, integrated into planning, that solve complex business problems and maximize company growth & productivity.
- Drive change across the global sales organization, wearing multiple hats to drive results and maximize impact on the organization.
- Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders ensuring alignment and commitment across all functions to stated outcomes.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior management review and field sales leadership.
- Lead a focused team of direct reports that drive consistent engagement with stakeholders and development & execution of plans.
- Balance multiple projects while providing clear thinking and excellent attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
- Partner across with various stakeholder to optimize the business inspection process and complete ad-hoc analysis and business cases.
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 10 - 12 years of relevant GTM Strategy and/or Sales Planning experience.
- Direct experience with strategic and annual planning, including translating to sales readiness.
- Combination of consulting and operating experience as well as experience working with/supporting sales teams is required.
- Proven track record of developing and developing global sales strategies, combination of direct sales and partner experience a plus
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence to the highest level in the organization.
- Self-motivated, highly analytical, has a high degree of intellectual curiosity – enjoys challenging assignments.
- Strong Story Telling Skills, able consolidate large data sets and extract the key points and relevant actions required.
- Passion for collaborative culture, alignment with ServiceNow values, and ability to lead by example and with empathy.

- Must have strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to identify and define problems, collect and analyze data and develop substantiated conclusions
- Proven collaboration and influence experience to drive large scale transformation and execution priorities
- Superior attention to detail, while being able to think strategically and stay focused on the big picture
- Ability to lead projects, handle objections and balance multiple tasks and priorities independently and effectively
- Successful management of cross-functional teams to drive process analysis, improvement, and implementation
- Excellent team player with demonstrated ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities
- Self-starter with a positive and solution-oriented mindset who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presence in front of senior executives
