What You Will Do:
The Finance Data Execution Coordinator role sits within the Finance Data Office (FiDO) and provides support to and coordinates among the Salesforce Finance and Business Technology (BT) teams. Success in this role means that we’ve forged strong partnerships with Business Technology (BT) and our business partners in Finance to enable benefits realization of our data platforms and programs.
You will be responsible for seamless coordination, prioritization, and execution of the Finance data operating models and BT driven projects. You will also play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the future-state FiDO work intake process to support Finance driven projects. Operational excellence in these areas makes it easier for us and our business partners to achieve durable, profitable growth.
Finance data operating model: Partner with BT and Finance on annual/quarterly/continuous project intake and prioritization. Implement ongoing process enhancements to streamline the intake and prioritization process and increase the velocity, quality and value of the work.
Gather, groom and stack rank data-related business priorities which require BT support.
Partner with business and BT stakeholders to ensure that BT is working on the top data priorities for Finance.
Enterprise data projects: Help drive planning and execution of enterprise data projects including migration, platform onboarding & transformation, and analytics. Bring a unified voice representing Finance on data & analytics enterprise-wide programs.
FiDO intake: Manage the FiDO work intake queue including work ticket hygiene/triaging, facilitating meetings with leaders, helping with initial requirements gathering/scoping, and helping drive prioritization alignment.
Push for better transparency, accountability and socialization on Finance data related efforts through key performance indicator (KPI) and operational reporting. Plan out communications and deliver content through Tableau dashboards, Slack updates, confluence pages, slide presentations, and live meetings.
Track achievements and tasks with assigned teams.
Motivate and adapt to different working styles based on the teams involved.
Embody customer zero, to help Salesforce build the best products by testing and providing feedback on new and existing products.
Certification: Individual contributors are expected to complete internal and external product certification programs within agreed upon timelines.

Finance & Strategy Analytics & Ops: Drive process management, deliver centralized data, company standard reporting solutions and tools to unlock business insights at scale.
Finance Analytics: Help Salesforce see and understand our Finance data through co-builds, consulting, Self Service Tools Strategy & Support, and more.
Finance Data Governance: Assist with defining and implementing the Finance data governance strategy at Salesforce, working alongside the Enterprise Data Governance Council (EDGC). Enforce governance standards on all projects and programs.
Finance Data Enablement & Insights: Drive data & analytics training & enablement; grow an engaged Finance Data & Analytics community through various programs promoting knowledge-sharing; develop dashboards monitoring our Data Platforms Usage to help inform and refine Finance Data Strategy; evolve and share the 'Finance on Salesforce' story.
Required Skills & Experience:
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
Exceptional project management, organizational, and planning skills.
Ability to collaborate and communicate ideas succinctly to both technical and non-technical business partners through written, visual, and verbal means of communication.
Ability to handle ambiguity, be resourceful and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
Ability to develop programs from requirements-capture to launch with guidance.
Familiarity with data migration and data platform transformation projects is advantageous.
Beginner-level+ understanding of data organization, management, engineering, analytics and governance concepts.
Experience with or proficiency and interest to learn the Tableau Product Suite.
Preferred experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift).
Accounting/Corporate finance experience helpful.
Working Conditions:
The physical environment requires the employee to work indoors in an office space. Employee is exposed to controlled temperature and air, adequate natural and artificial light, average noise levels. Employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time. Employee must be able to communicate and exchange information over the phone and/or via a computer. Employee must be able to perform work during the core working hours for the role, and may be asked to work different and/or additional hours.
