Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement secure, scalable and high-quality software solutions using .NET framework deployable in cloud
- Build reusable and shareable code to be used across the different applications
- Partner with the product team to align business objectives
- Domain driven design, event storming, and journey mapping to translate business needs to capabilities, features, and user stories
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in existing solutions to ensure highest quality and timely delivery
- Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practices
- Collaborate with management, QA, architecture and infrastructure teams
- Identify dependencies and develop design document for product, application or service

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field of study or 4+ years equivalent experience
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience in .Net
- 5+ years working with modern architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices
- 5+ years working with event driven architecture like Kafka
- 5+ years working with building reusable code that can be shared across the platform
- 4+ years working with near real-time communication through api webhooks
- 4+ years working with infrastructure as code to deploy software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with designing an event driven architecture through a public API and near real-time design
- Experience with designing a plug and play modular architecture
- Experience with identity management and least privilege practices in a microservice architecture
- Knowledge around infrastructure as code and best practices

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $122,100 to $234,700 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
