Salesforce, Inc. seeks Software Engineering, SMTS in Austin, TX:
Job Duties: Building c2c service that can be adapted by multiple clouds for authenticating their trusted entities. Work on the maintenance and enhancement of a performant and cache-heavy client-side Java library to be used with the new service for seamless authentication for systems. Perform Test-driven development, documentation, and code review. Design and develop test cases and implement automated tests using JUnit, Mockito. Deployment and maintenance of the c2c service on the Kubernetes platform. Establish best practices around CI/CD, Release Management, versioning, monitoring, and instrumentation for the c2c service. Work closely with product owners to help new and old stakeholders adopt the new c2c service microservice for handling authentication for their services. Provide Technical support to debug and resolve production issues that can affect service availability or performance for c2c stakeholders. Work on new and existing protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Object- Oriented Programming; (3) SQL; (4) Relational Database schema design; (5) SAML; (6) OAuth; (8) REST and SOAP; (9) XML; (10) WSDL; and (11) Spring Framework. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
